Gaza – Humanitarian Work
Ihsan Humanitarian Relief continues its relief efforts in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip by providing daily hot meals to displaced persons and those affected by the crisis, amid the difficult humanitarian conditions resulting from the ongoing siege and the shortage of basic foodstuffs.
This humanitarian initiative targets displaced families, the elderly, children, and families who have lost their sources of income, as hot meals are a lifeline for many who face the risk of hunger and food insecurity.
Humanitarian Response Amid the Blockade
These efforts are part of an urgent response to the rapidly deteriorating living conditions in the southern Gaza Strip, where residents are suffering from severe shortages of food and fuel, rising prices for basic goods, and difficulties in accessing aid.
Ihsan Humanitarian Relief teams are committed to preparing meals in accordance with appropriate health standards and distributing them in an organized manner that ensures they reach as many people in need as possible, despite logistical and security challenges.
Promoting Social Solidarity
Ihsan emphasized that the Takaya project aims to promote the values of social solidarity and alleviate the suffering of civilians, noting that the project’s continued operation depends heavily on the support of donors and generous benefactors.
The foundation also called on humanitarian and charitable organizations, as well as members of the community, to join forces in supporting relief projects to ensure the continued provision of food aid amid the worsening humanitarian crisis.
