Southern Gaza Strip – Monday, December 29, 2025
Ihsan for Humanitarian Relief continues to carry out its humanitarian initiative aimed at distributing hot meals to displaced and affected members of our community in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip, amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the population as a result of the ongoing blockade and its severe impact on daily life.
Urgent Humanitarian Response Amid Harsh Living Conditions
This initiative is part of Ihsan’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of displaced families, who are facing severe food shortages, a sharp rise in poverty rates, and food insecurity, particularly in the southern areas of the Gaza Strip.
The initiative focuses on providing hot, nutritious meals that meet the basic needs of children, the elderly, and families who have lost their sources of income, in an effort to mitigate the effects of the worsening humanitarian crisis.
Promoting the Values of Solidarity and Human Dignity
Ihsan Humanitarian Relief emphasized that these efforts stem from its deep belief in the human right to food and to live with dignity, and that relief work is not merely about providing aid, but rather a message of genuine human solidarity with the people of Gaza in their time of need.
She added that her field teams are continuing their work despite logistical and security challenges to ensure that aid reaches those who need it, in a manner that reflects the values of solidarity and compassion on which the initiative is based.
Ihsan for Humanitarian Relief… An Ongoing Commitment Despite the Challenges
Ihsan for Humanitarian Relief seeks to expand the scope of its humanitarian interventions in the coming period by implementing more relief and food projects, thereby alleviating the daily burdens weighing heavily on affected families in the Gaza Strip.
In this context, Ihsan emphasizes that the continuation of these initiatives depends on concerted efforts and the support of generous people, to convey a message of hope that Gaza is not alone.
